Putting the ‘super’ in supermini, this is the TOYOTA Yaris Hybrid-R that comes packing 420 horsepower. 300 of those have
been squeezed from a 1.6-liter engine with the remaining 120 coming from
a pair of electric motors. The technology behind this system is derived
from the Toyota Hybrid Racing team’s TS030
that finished in second and fourth spot at this year’s 24 Hours of Le
Mans. The Yaris Hybrid-R also boasts a third electric motor, located
between the engine and six-speed sequential transmission.

Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe Nighthawk Has Arrived, Full Of Carbon Fiber
Not every single Rolls Royce
is the epitome of good taste and sophistication. By the very nature of
the Bespoke program, customers with more money than taste can turn the
vehicles into some truly hideous things, although thankfully this is
fairly rare. Even more rare is for Rolls to bring out something that
leaves you wondering why, but here is the Phantom Drophead Coupe
Nighthawk edition. It's been around for a couple of months, but has just
reached America.

This Guy Just Drove His McLaren P1 To Pick Up Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder
K businessman Paul Bailey had a pretty memorable weekend, after driving his McLaren P1 to pick up a new LaFerrari andPorsche 918 Spyder on the same day. Believed to be the first person to own the Holy
Trinity of hypercars, the multi-millionaire was joined by his wife and
friend to collect the laFerrari, which he had ordered two years previously, before making a 200-mile trip to pick up the Porsche. He bought the P1 last year.
Bailey drove the LaFerrari, while his wife piloted the P1 and his friend the 918 Spyder, to join his collection of around 30 supercars back home. Speaking of his lustworthy acquisitions, the Brit said: “I live a very surreal life and being the first to own all three does not feel real. This is why I want to use and share the cars with enthusiasts. It is too early to say which is the best as they are all totally amazing. I will be able to better comment when I have driven them back to back on the race track.” Pictures come courtesy of Supercar Driver, a club through which Bailey will give people a chance to try out his rides at Silverstone. He previously raised some £20,000 for charity after raffling tickets for people to win a ride in the P1.

The Aston Martin DBRS9 Is An Attractive Alternative To The Endless Parade Of Porsche 911 GT3s
Not every manufacturer that makes cars conforming to FIA GT3 regulations
for use by privateer teams necessarily bothers to make a street legal
version. So the car you see here, which is going up for auction next
month with RM Auctions, will need a trailer to get to the race. The car
was built alongside the DBR9 GT1 race car, through a partnership between Aston Martin
and Prodrive, although the DBRS9 has more in common with the road
version and was much cheaper. The DBRS9 is still pretty hardcore though.
This 2006 model is based on the DB9 of the same year, but power has been bumped up from 450 to 550 horsepower. But even more dramatic is the difference in weight, with more than a thousand pounds being trimmed via the stripping out of the interior and the replacing of panels with carbon fiber. That brings the total weight down to only 2,700 lbs, incredibly light for a DB9. The car sold new for 175,000 pounds, although options could add to that, the same as it could with the road version. We don't have an estimate for the auction, but we're curious to see what it goes for.

Ford Focus RS Teased Before Official Debut Later Today
Official details and full specs have yet to come in - that’ll happen very soon, we promise – but for now leaked images of the Ford Focus RS have hit the web. Painted in Liquid Blue (same color as Ford’s
Detroit threesome), the Focus RS has a beefed up front end featuring a
more aggressive grille and larger air vents. Note the double-spoke alloy
wheels as well as the rear diffuser, rear exhaust and overall lowered,
more aggressive stance further differentiate it from the Focus ST.
This Is The New Ferrari 488 GTB: 660 HP Of Turbocharged V8 Madness
Ferrarihas unveiled its 458 Italia replacement - the all-new Ferrari 488 GTB
Forty years after the first-ever mid-mounted V8 model, the 308 GTB,
comes the first turbocharged variant. The latest Gran Turismo Berlinetta
gets the ‘488’ element of its name from its eight cylinders that each
boast a 488 cc capacity. The powerplant is a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8
rated at 660 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque. That’s a significant jump from
the 458’s 562 hp and even the 458 Speciale’s 597 hp and 398 lb-ft of
torque

Lexus Reveals GS F High Performance Sedan Ahead Of Detroit Motor Show
It seems quite clear that LEXUS has finally found its mojo. The latest piece of evidence is this: the
2016 GS F, not to be confused with the GS 350 F Sport. No, this time
we’re talking about the real deal, the true BMW
M5 fighter. Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 (the
same engine found in the RC F) which produces a total of 467 hp and 389
lb-ft of torque (the BMW M5 comes standard with 560 hp). The sole
gearbox is a lightning quick eight-speed automatic with manual-shifting
capabilities. (Rear-wheel-drive)
